The SCORE (Sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility) program is an initiative of the International Labour Organization, aimed at improving the productivity and working conditions of small and medium-sized enterprises through consulting and training services. The program assists government agencies, training institutions, industry associations, and trade unions in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, and the Americas in providing SCORE training to SMEs, helping them develop cooperative labor relations and enabling both employers and workers to share the benefits.

The ILO's core philosophy and mission is to "promote social justice and decent work." The goal of the SCORE project is to foster sustainable business development by providing high-quality employment and ensuring that workers are employed in safe and healthy working environments.

Ensuring effective enterprise safety production management is a common challenge faced by countries worldwide, particularly developing ones. For China, it is a critical issue to tackle. Collaborating with the International Labour Organization and introducing the SCORE project in China serves as a management approach, guiding enterprises to establish a mechanism for safe development, self-restraint, self-motivation, and continuous improvement.

SCORE China was the first pilot country for the global SCORE project. From 2007 to 2008, SCORE training was successfully piloted in China, and in 2009, it expanded globally with the official establishment of the SCORE project. Since its inception in 2009, SCORE training has been provided to more than 5,202 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) worldwide. This has benefited over 917,000 workers, who have seen improvements in their workplace environments, including efforts to establish cultures of respect, trust, and communication.

Currently, 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region are implementing the SCORE project, including China, Vietnam, India, Myanmar, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Maldives.
