Leverage Team Actively Participated in the Promotion and Implementation of the "Code of Good Practice for Reverse Logistics Services" Standard, Helping the Smooth Development of the Country'
In order to promote the understanding and application of this standard among the majority of standard users, the National Technical Committee for Logistics Standardization launched a publicity and implementation activity for the national standard "Code of Good Practice for Reverse Logistics Services" (GB/T 42928-2023) at the "China Logistics Standard Lecture Hall" on October 27, 2023. Leverage team was invited to participate in this event online.
The national standard "Code of Good Practice for Reverse Logistics Services" (GB/T 42928-2023) was implemented on August 6, 2023. The standard establishes the general principles of good practice for reverse logistics services, and stipulates the requirements for service guarantee, service operation, inspection and testing, judgment and processing, labeling, information management and traceability, risk prevention and emergency management, as well as evaluation and improvement.
The organizer invited a total of three guests to attend the talk. First of all, Zhuang Wei, deputy director of the technical development Department of Shanghai Quality Association, made a systematic introduction to the "Code of Good Practice for Reverse Logistics Services".
Purpose of standard development:
The "Code of Good Practice for Reverse Logistics Services" is designed to solve the following problems that enterprises have in implementing reverse logistics services. It systematically guides enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency by implementing good practices for reverse logistics services, reduce safety and environmental risks, and promote the healthy development of the reverse logistics service system.
The operation and management of enterprises of reverse logistics services are extensive
Generally, there is no process or specification to cover the whole process and main links of reverse logistics services.
Enterprises’ risk identification, assessment and response capabilities are relatively weak
Failure to systematically consider the safety and environmental risk factors of reverse logistics services, and weak safety and environmental risk prevention and control capabilities, which can easily have a negative impact on the personal, property, privacy and environmental safety of corporate personnel and surrounding people
Enterprises lack information technology and advanced technology applications, and traceability is not universally achieved
As a result, the management efficiency lags behind, which affects the reverse logistics recycling service ability, and a large number of recycling demands cannot be effectively responded to

Subsequently, Chen Ming, Senior Quality Manager of Sinopharm Pharmaceutical Logistics Co., Ltd., and Zhang Yuanyuan, Quality Manager of Shanghai Wanwu Xinsheng Environmental Protection Technology Group Co., Ltd., shared the specific application and practice of this standard in the fields of pharmaceutical distribution and 3C testing from the perspective of their own companies.
As early as September 21, 2023, Leverage was invited to attend the International Standardization Professional Committee Annual Meeting and Urban Renewal Construction Guide Group Standard Exchange Meeting hosted by the International Standardization Professional Committee of the Shanghai Sustainable Development Research Association. At this annual meeting, a group of well-known experts in the fields of energy, finance, technology transactions, international education, urban planning, and digital transformation were newly added as expert members and professional group leaders of the International Standardization Committee. As a newly added expert member, Leverage CEO Mr. Qu Weifeng received a letter of appointment issued by the International Standardization Professional Committee of the Shanghai Sustainable Development Research Association.
At present, Leverage, as a standard drafting authorized unit, has been participating in the compilation and drafting of a series of sustainable development standards by the Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics (Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics) Sustainable Development Standards Project Group. As the co-leader of the Sustainable Development Standards Project Group, Mr. Qu, together with experts and scholars from various fields, jointly promotes the smooth progress of the project. At present, the draft of the ESG compilation guide standard is being gradually improved, and the drafting of several other standards is also in full swing.
